Field record

Insurgent network founded by a water engineer in 2055 who understood the headwaters' strategic value before any faction arrived. 11 years of highland corridor operations. Gene-forged template unidentified. The internal compromise is active — someone in command is working toward PCU accommodation. The sixth headwaters insertion attempt was briefed on Sons suppression positions.

Founded 2055 by a water engineer who understood the Tigris-Euphrates headwaters' strategic value before EO or PCU arrived and built an organization around protecting it. Eleven years of sustained highland corridor operations against both factions' insertion attempts. Gene-forged template unidentified by any faction intelligence service.

The Sons' legitimacy, intelligence coverage, and logistics network all run through the Mesopotamian communities that host them. Remove that civilian embedding and the Sons become an insurgent organization without a base — different operational lifespan.

An internal compromise is active. Someone in command is working toward PCU accommodation. The sixth EO headwaters insertion attempt was briefed on Sons suppression positions. The Sons' operational security has always assumed internal integrity. That assumption is now wrong.

Sons of the Serpent, three vantage points
Persons of Interest gives the Sons' founding trauma (Tariq Al-Masri, radicalized by a water-diversion catastrophe). 'Blood Price' shows them wanting a defector engineer for propaganda. 'False Flag' shows them framed for a bombing they didn't plan. Three stories, one faction, and enough daylight between the canon motive and how outsiders describe them to build a whole arc out of the gap.
