Same surname, same institution, opposite ends of a family argument — likely mother/aunt and daughter/niece, unconfirmed but very likely intentional.

Persons of Interest gives the Sons' founding trauma (Tariq Al-Masri, radicalized by a water-diversion catastrophe). 'Blood Price' shows them wanting a defector engineer for propaganda. 'False Flag' shows them framed for a bombing they didn't plan.
