Gene-forging programs begin under SCA charter.
The South Compact Alliance signed its founding documents and designated the Amazonian Metroplex a strategic industrial zone: a city grown from engineered fungi, sixty meters of canopy over street level. The charter authorized gene-forging programs on day one. The SCA planned for the century it expected and staffed accordingly.
