What this is

Every person, faction and organization in the Terra Conflictus world model — 206 of them, drawn from the globe, CONFLICT, Unstable Signals, Field Fiction and the Persons of Interest canon, connected by faction and by every relationship the source material actually states. It's a map of what's already been built, not a new piece of canon on its own.

How to read it

Diamonds are factions. Circles are people. A white ring means a canon Person of Interest or a magazine's masthead writer. Dotted lines mean "affiliated with that faction." Solid magenta lines are the connections in the Featured Connections list at right — the ones worth looking at first.

What to actually do with it

• Find a hook. Start with Featured Connections, at right. Each one is a thread that's already planted somewhere in the archive but never paid off — the Calderwood family split, Col. Drey running the same racket three issues running, the Amaterasu question. Any one of these is a pitch-ready premise for a new CONFLICT piece, mission, or Field Fiction short.
• Check before you invent. Starting a new piece for a faction you've already used? Search it here first. See who's already on record for that faction before adding another name to the world.
• Reuse instead of inventing. Click a faction diamond to see everyone already affiliated with it. An existing Persons of Interest character can recur as a mission's antagonist instead of a new one-off name.
• Decide the open questions, on purpose. A few connections are flagged as unresolved — the "Menagerie" name used three different ways, the recurring Volkovs. Use those as a punch list: either lock one down as canon, or leave it open and lean into it deliberately.
• Onboard fast. If anyone else ever writes in this world with you, this is a much faster orientation than handing over a thousand entity files.
